Basic Boating Education Core Standard - Public Review Period Opens

A sixth Public Review period runs October 15, 2021, through November 29, 2021, for the following draft standard:

- NASBLA 100-20XX: Basic Boating Knowledge - Core

Comments on the Public Review Draft must relate to the specific items changed from the previous public review posting as illustrated in the "Track Change" documents. Please submit comments using the "Add a Comment" link in the box below the draft standard on the "My Panels" page. Additional instructions will be found on the "Add a Comment" form.

Basic Boating Education Standards - Public Review Period is Closed

A second Public Review comment period closed on September 29, 2020 for the following draft standards:

- NASBLA 100-20XX: Basic Boating Knowledge - Core,
- NASBLA 101-20XX: Basic Boating Knowledge - Plus Human-Propelled,
- NASBLA 102-20XX: Basic Boating Knowledge - Plus Sailing,
- NASBLA 103-20XX: Basic Boating Knowledge - Plus Power, and
- NASBLA 103.1-20XX: Supplement: Basic Boating Knowledge - Plus Water-Jet Propelled.

All documents remain available for download on EZ-ESP as posted for this second review period.

These revised draft documents contain all changes 'accepted' or 'accepted in principle' by the National Boating Education Standards Panel as a result of public comments submitted during the first review period which ended December 5, 2019.

Approved minutes of the Panel, including appendices with details of the panel's disposition of comments, are posted on EZ-ESP via "document download."
