The revised draft standard 'BSR/NASBLA 103-201X: Basic Boating Knowledge - Power' is posted for review and comment on revised changes. The comment period remains open through August 24, 2015.

Approved Minutes Available - March and May 2015

The approved minutes of the National Boating Education Standards Panel from its March 26-27, 2015 in-person meeting in Sandestin, Florida and the May 7 teleconference meeting are available in the zip file on EZ-ESP. No meeting was held in April 2015.

Basic Boating Knowledge - Power Open for Public Review under ANSI Process

As part of the new status as an ANSI ASD (American National Standards Institute Accredited Standards Developer), the Education Standards Panel has re-opened NASBLA 103-2015: Basic Boating Knowledge - Power for a 45 day Public Review process beginning November 30, 2014. Comments may be submitted via the EZ-ESP website on the final draft standard at this time.

Education Standards Panel to Meet in Bangor, Maine

The Education Standards Panel is scheduled to meet on October 14-15, 2014 at the Courtyard Bangor, 236 Sylvan Road, Bangor, Maine 04401. Phone 207-262-0070.

The goal of this site is to make participation in the national boating education standards writing process as quick and painless as possible. This site will give you the ability to choose areas of interest and effortlessly become aware of what is happening in your chosen sectors.
